WHO AM I?
An artist, A designer. I design to create a feeling— one that lingers, turns heads, and shifts perspectives and i think it’s incredibly important for you to get to know the name and the face behind your current or future favorite brand DAEZ.
I was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria to a Nigerian mother and father. They named me ADAEZE ( Daughter of a king, Daughter of God), the Igbo word for Princess and a testament to the hopes they had for the life I would have.
I know you already see where DAEZ came from 😁
Growing up, I always had a special type of love for fashion and art and ofcourse I spent countless hours playing dress up, sketching, painting my face and any bare surface. My mother, a fashion designer at the time, was a very creative woman, i marveled at how she came up with designs and got inspired by the flow of the fabric texture or print or colors. I ended up picking that handwork and knowledge from her before moving to Enugu to study Electrical and Electronics Engineering at The University of Science and Technology, Enugu.
While in school, I began my deep love for fashion in the form of blogging (www.Styletitude.com was my blog). when I graduated, Instagram started becoming a thing and I became An engineer whose passion for fashion and digital content had driven her to create a unique digital platform that creates visually pleasing and engaging contents around fashion, travel, lifestyle, and everything in between,
HOW I ENDED UP FOUNDING DAEZ?
Well honestly, I had this thing artists usually feel when they aren’t painting and expressing their creativity – creative restlessness, others call it artistic guilt. I knew I was going to end up in fashion like I’d always dreamt, but I never saw myself as a shoe designer neither did I ever think that I’d be starting out in fashion with shoes and bags but while actively creating content and influencing for fashion brands I struggled to find accessories that made me feel like the main character in the story I was trying to tell. I found a few and I knew they had to be more so I went back to the drawing board to see the feasibility of starting out as an accessory designer.
I am expressive, I see the world as my oyster and my customers as my canvas, I wasn’t going to live each day unfulfilled so in 2019 In my engineering office I found myself exploring the possibilities of founding a fashion brand. I started making research and equipping myself. Two years later, I started sketching my designs but the real work started in 2022.
Many people know me as a content creator and creative fashionista. This constant multifaceted balance over a 9-year period nurtured my ability to take some of life’s biggest leaps. 6 years later, DAEZ is born.
WHAT INSPIRES THE PIECES?
Everything and anything.
When I decided to take a leap into this brand, I promised myself to trust the creative process and approach it as wearable art. I had to dedicate myself to telling the brand and product story in a way that created a deeper knowledge and understanding of each design with DAEZ women.

I design to create a feeling—one that lingers, turns heads, and shifts perspectives. To me, fashion isn’t just about what we wear; it’s about how it transforms us. DAEZ is is my expression and it is structural, bold and contemporary. Every piece is an extension of my vision: wearable art that speaks before you do.
I’ve always been drawn to the in-between—the balance of contrast, the tension that makes something unforgettable. With DAEZ, I craft more than shoes and bags; I shape statements. I want each design to be more than an accessory. I want it to be the moment.
